I'm in the process of opening my own home daycare, and I've heard of Government grants. So, I'm wondering if this is really such a thing or just something made up. Is it possible to apply for grants and if so where do you do this. I googled it ...

I am in debt I just received a letter saying my son who is 9 months does not qualify for assistance with his surgery. I need serious help. I dont work because I care for him 24/7 and he is scared of other people.Kay

My bf and I are looking into buying our first house together, and I heard that there are programs where the government would just give you money or help or something to encourage people to buy houses.
What kind of programs are there, or where can I find them?

We have had total City's wipped off the maps or nearly here in SE. MN from the 16 inches of rain in 20 hours 2 weeks ago, about the same time hurricane Dean was headed for Cancoon. Its a Federal Disaster, but the money to be recieved ...
