Government Grants

I have been looking for days online for grants and scholarships for my first year of college. I am a single mother and am considered to be a very low income family. Does anyone know where I can apply for more grants or scholarships other then the financial aid which might only pay half of my tuition.? Im looking more for government grants and if there are any for low income students or single moms speciflly. Any answers will be a great help with my search Thanks=)
Also I ve seen some rude answers on here so if u have a problem with my question please keep ur comments to yourself. You shouldnt judge people, i have two small children and I work very hard to get by and Im not asking for a freeby Im just looking to make my family better off in the long run.
