is there a government grant to help buy furniture ?

i am moving into a housing assosiation house in a few days but i dont really have anything to take with me as its all so used its falling apart wardrobes etc washing machine i was sure id heard about a grant that the government will give you to help out a bit but can not seem to find out anything about it anywhere anyone know what im talking about or similar?
