Government Grants

I have heard that there is money available, it just needs to be found. I live in texas, I am 25 and probably will be considered to be low income (I make about 12000 a year) but I am single with no children, so I know that doesnt really help things. Anyways, if you have any info on where I can look for these, let me know. Thanks!!!

I’m looking to buy my first house and need a government grant to help with closing costs and down payment assistance. Does anyone know where I need to go? Any websites? I don’t want any that you have to pay to receive info on how to apply, I want to go straight to assistance from the government…anyone help with this?

I have been looking for days online for grants and scholarships for my first year of college. I am a single mother and am considered to be a very low income family. Does anyone know where I can apply for more grants or scholarships other then the financial aid which might only pay half of my tuition.? Im looking more for government grants and if there are any for low income students or single moms speciflly. Any answers will be a great help with my search Thanks=)
Also I ve seen some rude answers on here so if u have a problem with my question please keep ur comments to yourself. You shouldnt judge people, i have two small children and I work very hard to get by and Im not asking for a freeby Im just looking to make my family better off in the long run.

Back in the sixties there were no many neat programs that received funding. Perhaps the government will start funding non-profit organizations again and there will be a flow of manna to the people.

I have been looking for work, i just moved here from Germany after my husband got stationed here at Ft. Lewis. We are in alot of trouble with Money. I have applied for over 40 jobs, i have not heard anything back. I would rather work, but if something doesn’t come up soon, i Dont know what we are going to do.

we wish to start taking care of his education as soon as possible.
we both earn around 44,750$ together (im part time) we still pay off our student loans if that matter in any way.

i was wondering if we could contribute now 1000$ to a plan
what is the value of the grants we can get and what kind is it?

I just graduated from dental assisting school in Pennsylvania, and my boyfriend got a great job offer because my dad is the president of a union for this company. This company is in Maryland, and hes making great money, so me and him decided to move to Maryland to be closer to his job. His paycheck is good but it covers our bills and thats about it. We are pretty much struggeling to put groceries in our fridge and gas in my car. I dont want to get a job as a dental assistant, because I want to pursue it even farther as a dental hygienist. I was thinking about going to Baltimore City Community College for it, but im broke as a joke! Someone told me about www.mygovernmentresources.com and you fill out a questionnaire and a rep calls or emails you with grants you are eligiable for. Does anybody know if this is legit or true? I would love to have extra money that I dont need to pay back, because I really want to go back to school.
